Jas Rattigan, is a versatile and accomplished accounting professional with extensive experience in profit, not-for-profit, and municipal finance. Known for meticulous analysis, strategic foresight, and collaborative leadership, Jas has built a career on strengthening financial systems, implementing best practices, and fostering operational efficiency. Her expertise spans financial budgeting and reporting, project and team management, strategic planning, internal controls, risk management, and complex financial modelling.

Currently serving as Director of Finance for the Township of Georgian Bay, Jas successfully oversees all aspects of finance as well as information technology. In this capacity, she champions and leads transformative initiatives, including the implementation of a new ERP system, the modernization of procurement processes and policy, the redevelopment of the budget process and leading the Township’s move to prudent investor regime. Her leadership ensures alignment of financial and technological strategies to support the Township’s long-term sustainability and service excellence.

A Chartered Professional Accountant with an honours degrees from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, Jas has been recognized for her leadership and professional contributions, including participation in the Schulich School of Business’s Masters Certificate in Municipal Leadership program and serving in various volunteer mentorship and governance roles. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a consistent ability to align financial stewardship with organizational goals, ensuring transparency, accountability, and sustainable growth.
