Jon joined The Toro Company in 2015 and serves as the Government Contracts Manager for North America. Jon is also responsible for supporting a number of Toro’s key industry relationships – in addition to helping develop and implement strategies targeted at growing and supporting the Sports Fields & Grounds market segments, which represents professional and collegiate sports, educational institutions, and government - including federal, state and local entities.

Boyd is the North American Sports Fields & Grounds Regional Business Manager for the commercial products division of The Toro Company. He has been with Toro for over 16 years. Prior to that, he was the Facilities & Maintenance Director for Sylvania Recreation Corporation in Sylvania, Ohio. Boyd was the co-founder of the Ohio STMA Chapter and is currently serving as the Vice President, Commercial for the National STMA. He has also served as Chairmen of the SAFE Foundation. Boyd was honored by the STMA with the George Toma Golden Rake Award in 1999 and the Harry Gill Award in 2006. He has served on numerous committees and does a number of speaking events around the country. Boyd is also an adjunct professor at Kansas State University.

Carrie Mathes, MPA, CFCM, NIGP-CPP, CPPO, C.P.M., CPPB, A.P.P.
Manager for the Orange County Procurement Division
Carrie has over 25 years of procurement experience in both the private and public sectors and has obtained several professional certifications including Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM), NIGP Certified Procurement Professional (NIGP-CPP), Certified Public Procurement Officer (CPPO), Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB), Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.), and Accredited Purchasing Practitioner (A.P.P.). Carrie currently serves as Chair-Elect of the NIGP Governing Board. She is Past President of the Florida Association of Public Procurement Officials (FAPPO), and the Central Florida Chapter of NIGP, and has previously served on NIGP’s Talent Council, and the Board of Examiners for the Universal Public Procurement Certification Council. Carrie received the Anne Deatherage Meritorious Service Award from NIGP in 2014, and was named the Professional Manager of the Year by NIGP in 2012. Carrie holds a Master in Public Administration and a Graduate Certificate in Emergency Management from the University of Central Florida.
