Effective and Efficient Audit Preparation
This workshop is specifically designed to train municipal staff in effectively preparing for the annual audit in a way that minimizes their time and effort, while providing their auditors with what they need to execute the audit. Recent PSAB changes will be discussed including the impact standards have on audit and working paper preparation.

- Roles and responsibilities in an audit
- Components of an audit and required documentation and communication
- Components of the financial statements and development of the associated working papers
- Audit efficiencies
- PSAB standards update and audit impact
Tool Kit: These topics will be presented in two half day sessions utilizing a mix of presentation and group discussion.
