| Eric Lascelles | Managing Director & Chief Economist | RBC Global Asset Management Inc. | Eric is the Chief Economist and Head of Investment Strategy Research at RBC Global Asset Management. In this role, he leads a team of economists and investment strategists generating forecasts and research on key economic and investment themes.
Eric is also a member of the RBC GAM Investment Strategy Committee, the group responsible for the firm’s global asset mix recommendations. His insights are regularly sought by global media outlets and he remains a trusted voice in economic and market analysis.
Prior to joining RBC GAM in 2011, Eric spent nearly a decade at another financial institution, rising from economist to the position of chief economist and rates strategist on the firm's trading floor. He began his career at Statistics Canada.
