This two part webinar will use the discussions from the “Creating Funding Scenarios - Lifecycle Costing” webinar as a starting point, and start to dig deeper into the use of debt and reserves/reserve funds within the Financing Strategy of an Asset Management (AM) Plan.

  • Projecting Debt over the Forecast Period: How to project debt and debt payments over the forecast period within your Financing Strategy, taking into account Debt Capacity Limits.
  • Reserve & Reserve Fund Policies: What reserve/reserve fund policies are municipalities putting in place in conjunction with the AM Plan?
  • Use of Reserves & Reserve Funds: Common practices used when incorporating reserves and reserve funds within a Financing Strategy.
  • Projecting Reserve & Reserve Funds over the Forecast Period: How to project reserve/reserve funds over the forecast period within your Financing Strategy.
  • Infrastructure Funding Gap: How to use the funding gap analysis as a method to evaluate the effectiveness of your AM Plan.
