Community, Culture and Recreation (CCR) Stream Webinar
Webinar 2 - Open to Non-Profit organizations
Webinar Objectives:
The Community, Culture and Recreation funding stream of the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program supports projects that improve access to and/or quality of community and recreation infrastructure. The Province will consider projects through two streams: the multi-purpose stream consisting of larger scale expansions of existing facilities or new build projects with a flexible project cap of $50 million, and the rehabilitation and renovation project stream, consisting of small-scale improvements of existing facilities with a project cap of $5 million.
The CCR application intake process began on September 3, and applications will be accepted until November 12, 2019. This application-based program is a competitive process and the Province is anticipating high demand for limited funding.
The purpose of these webinars is to provide eligible applicants with adequate information to successfully complete applications prior to the November 12th deadline.
A representative from Transfer Payments Ontario will walk applicants through the application process and TPON system and a representative from Ontario’s Ministry of Infrastructure will walk applicants through the process to complete business cases.
Webinars will also provide applicants the opportunity to ask questions during a moderated thirty-minute questions and answers period.
What You will Learn:
How do applicants navigate through the application form on the Transfer Payments Ontario website?
What are the components of the business cases, and what information should applicants include?
Who Should Attend:
All eligible applicants including municipalities, non-profit organizations and First Nations & other Indigenous communities who want to ensure that applications are completed accurately with sufficient information for provincial review.
Benefits of Attending:
Participants can expect to:
Gain insights on how to navigate the TPON system
Gain a clear understanding of how to appropriately complete a business case
